A SINGERS' TOOLKIT
A couple in life and at work, Ileana Di Camillo and Antonio De Lillis have been performing, writing, collaborating and sharing ideas since 2006. Together they founded “A Singers' Toolkit”, a virtual space for all things singing and singing teaching, where you’ll find resources, information, videos and events, all related to the wonderful world of voice.
An adventurous singer, Antonio has a solid performing background in rock and jazz music, a degree in Jazz and a PGCert in Vocal Pedagogy, gained from Cardiff Metropolitan University in conjunction with the amazing Voice Workshop Ltd. He’s been singing since 1996 and teaching since 2000, helping hundreds of students find their singing voice and unleash their creative potential. A keen lover of science in all its shapes and forms, Antonio has written several articles on the subject of vocal improvisation. He teaches from his private studio and at WM College in Camden, London.
Ileana is a versatile performer whose singing career spans over 20 years and a multitude of genres. She started teaching in 2005. Over the years, Ileana has developed an interest in body-mind disciplines (e.g. Feldenkrais method, Alexander Technique, Mindfulness), and as part of her postgraduate studies she has investigated ways of integrating various elements of these techniques into the teaching of singing. She’s a singing and choir teacher at Havering Music School and is responsible for the singing provision at the Dance Theatre Arts Academy in Hornchurch, Essex.
